Host An Artist
Every year, the KC Fringe Festival welcomes out-of-town performers from across the nation and from around the world. Whether from India, England, Florida, or Arizona they all have a common need, a place to rest their head.
We're looking for KC residents with room in their homes to house these artists. Just complete the Host Questionaire.
Questions? Email Denise Deckert at email@example.com.
How To Fringe
Buy A Button
The Fringe Button provides access to every event at Fringe. With your $5 Fringe Button, you can purchase tickets to any Fringe show and gain entrance to free events like Late Night on the Fringe. Children 12 and under get their Fringe Button free.
Fringe Buttons also get you discounts and benefits at local restaurants and cafes year round. Check out our Button Perks for more information.
Buttons can be purchased at any venue or Fringe 411 in Union Station and are required if you wish to see any of our Fringe Shows.
Whatever your style, there's a show for you. Fringe shows are 60 minutes (unless otherwise noted) with 30 minutes between shows at each venue. Different venues have different start times.
Doors open 20 minutes before show time. No refunds after the show begins and no late seating — you’re better than that.
KC Fringe hosts a robust variety of performance and artists exhibitions, so whatever your Fringe style is, there's a show for you!
About The 2015 Kansas City Fringe Festival
KC Fringe is a Missouri-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support artists, celebrate expression, and engage the community.
We do this by organizing the KC Fringe Festival, an annual 11-day performing and visual arts extravaganza. It straddles a thin, frayed line between mass appeal and eclectic tastes. Fringe links these two worlds together, showing that it is the bridge you take to be inspired and entertained no matter what your taste may be. Below is what you can expect to experience at Fringe.
Our roots trace to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, founded on the need to celebrate and provide all artists the opportunity to produce their work.
Become a Volunteer!
Want to join the fun? It’s easy! Shifts are usually three hours and for each hour donated,
you'll receive three Fringe Bucks – good toward show tickets, merch and special offers during the festival.
Email or call the Volunteer Coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org and (816) 666-8214.
We're looking for sponsors as dynamic as we are! Fringe is the perfect opportunity to engage with the progressive people we draw out. Let us build a sponsorship package tailored specifically to your needs.
